The OLP Parish Mission will be led by national Catholic speaker, entertainer, author, and musician "Chris Padgett"! A founding member of the popular Christian bandScarecrow and Tinmen, Chris wrote, recorded and toured with the band for seven years. He also has more than four solo albums to his credit, including Follow, Golden, Wonder (Joyful Desperation) , and The Encounter. An avid writer, you can find more about his many books at his website; two of his books were co-authored with his wife of nine years, Linda Padgett, Catholic blogger: "PrimalHappyPlace.com".

Chris is a veteran of four World Youth Days and has ministered at many national and diocesan youth events. Many of you may know his from the 2016 Erie Diocesan Family Fest where he headlined with his wife, Linda. His television appearances include Life on the Rock with Jeff Cavins and Living His Life Abundantly with Johnette Benkavick, both on EWTN.He has spoken on numerous radio shows and appeared at several Steubenville youth conferences, the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC), and the National Conference for Catholic Youth Ministry (NCCYM).

He is actively involved in the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), has a great
love for young people and their families. Chris gets real with parents and the challenges of living the Christian life in the secular world. Most of all he has a great love for Jesus Christ which is entertainingly and passionately infectious!
